I’m Kat De Barros, a Brazilian-American visual artist and photographer based in South Florida. I’m drawn to photography as a way of telling stories, preserving feelings, and finding beauty in the moments that might otherwise pass us by.

Music has always been a big part of my life and continues to be one of my favorite things to photograph. Alongside concerts and festivals, I love photographing people, places, and the little moments in between — from portraits and events to travel, lifestyle, and everyday life.

Outside of photography, I’m usually listening to music, reading, drinking too much coffee, exploring somewhere new, or finding another creative project to get lost in.
